A high quality well made unit. I built mine into a homemade reflex cabinet using freeware software cross checked against manual calculations. Standard "running in" was applied and various tunings of the cabinet port and cabinet damping undertaken. Initial results were very unimpressive resulting in the speaker having little use over many months at a time. However each time I re-visited it the bass seemed to improve a bit. I am now really impressed with the depth and eveness of the bass response and happy to recommend this unit. It may take a bit more "fettling " and running in than expected but it is well worth the trouble. I seem to remember reading of a similar conclusion in another BMS bass review else where on the net.
